PROFESSIONAL QUALITY CATERING
The APCI (Professional Association of Italian Chefs) represents an important national and international reference point for Quality Professional Catering. Authoritative professional chefs have joined the association, supported by valid restaurateurs, with the logistical and operational support of a selected team of professionals, organizers, journalists, photographers and coordinators. All driven by a dynamic and persevering determination and an altruistic, sincere team spirit, enriched by proven and experienced professionalism. These are the ingredients of the family of white caps, as they are defined, of the Professional Association of Italian Chefs.

WHAT IS APCI?
It is a trade association that was born with a view to aggregation and service, to constitute added value for the professional of Italian cuisine who wants to find an environment in which to recognize themselves, emerge, share their experience and find new ideas for growth and comparison.

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF APCI
Increase one's visibility and that of one's workplace, to obtain valid certification of one's professionalism, to take advantage of a selection of the best job offers, to collaborate as testimonials of the Association in Italy and in the world, to represent the most large companies with which the Association collaborates every day.

The APCI is also a galaxy on the move, with its Giro d'Italia: a real journey of experiences and learning about ingredients, recipes, interpretations and dishes. The post-pandemic recovery took place last year first with appointments made in phygital format up to the meeting in Naples in which the APCI Chef Italia National Team guided the professionals present on an educational culinary journey. The APCI also works on delicate and complex fields such as those of the fight against food waste and social isolation. A project, the latter, born in 2018, thanks to the collaboration with Food for Soul, a non-profit organization founded by chef Massimo Bottura. Finally, the APCI intends to underline the role of service and collaboration of catering and the will of the association to place the experience of its members at the service of all, with joy, commitment and desire to be reborn. A project that was shared with enthusiasm by all the partner companies that supply the raw materials and equipment for the Giro d'Italia.
